Abstract
When I started taking notes for this paper, the thought process started first with rumors that were circulating around those on the internet who were unwilling to vaccinate their families or themselves. At some point I was collecting notes from family members who were talking about people they knew who were becoming paralyzed due to taking the vaccine. Later I found out it was Bell’s Palsy and with more research I found that patients were then treated with steroids to counteract that effect so I felt it didn’t make for a strong argument but I still left it in the paper. The blood clots I realized were produced by Astra Zeneca’s second dose, and the first dose of the Pfizer was instead found to have caused the Bell’s Palsy. I kept some of the rumors because of the effect they had on people even if debunked by experts. There were rumors of Johnson and Johnson vaccine but I felt they were not as strong enough to make it into the paper. I found later that vaccine resistance was not only prevalent in the Delta Variant but also Lambda; however there was no real evidence I could find to suggest that vaccines created these new variants. I did not find evidence to support the notes on vaccinations that caused birth defects in women, and I cut out small pox and cow pox from the paper as well. I fixed the title of the controversy from “Should we have mandates for vaccines” to “Should vaccines be mandated.” After compiling these notes, I wrote the rest on a word document and formed the paper you see here: Should Vaccines Be Mandated?
